Rimrock Cove is 180 acres of natural Ozark beauty located near the upper Buffalo River. This is horse country so come join us for a guided horseback ride through some of our beautiful mountain countyside. Youll ride down quiet wooded trails flanked by large boulders , cross a meandering stream and venture into open meadows where youll be treated to beautiful views of the mountains beyond.

| Be sure to bring your camera along. You might catch a glimpse of some wildlife or see a variety of wildflowers blooming in season. Feel free to ask any questions you might have about the plants and animals you see along the way.... your guides are friendly and knowledgeable. Our horses are gentle and easy to ride. We welcome families with children.

Hay rides

| A hay ride is an excellent outing for families and small groups of 20 or less. At Rimrock Cove youll ride on a haywagon pulled by a team of work horses. A simple one hour hay ride is available or if you wish to be out longer you can take the hay ride to an open meadow where you can enjoy a picnic or have a fire and cookout. Other horsedrawn vehicles are available. Maybe a bobsled ride in the snow? Call for details.

Maple Syrup and Winter Activities

| Yes, that's right! Now you don't have to go all the way to Vermont to experience Maple sugaring. The same maple and hickory trees that grace our mountains with vibrant color in the fall will provide us with gallons of sweet sap to be collected and cooked into maple syrup during January, February and early March. Join us for a hay ride through the woods to collect the sap and return to the cook site to watch us cook it down into delicious maple syrup and other treats. Winter is also the best time to get out and hike the scenic trails in our Buffalo River area. Visit waterfalls and view the elk during this peaceful time of year. |

Rates and information

| ALL RIDES ARE BY RESERVATION ONLY. PLEASE CALL FOR AN APPOINTMENT. Some reservations may require deposit. Our trailrides are $25 per hour per person. Minimum Total charge per group: horseback : $50.00 Hayrides are $15 per person for 1 hour $25 per person for 2 hours, with a minimum total charge of $75. Payment by cash or check preferred. Mastercard and Visa accepted. Cancellations: If you are unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you please call and cancel as soon as possible. Deposits will be returned (less $10.00 service fee) if we are notified at least 2 hours prior to intended appointment. |
